Biblical Prophets Speak Truth to Power
As we continue to discern whether the prophetic voices promoting Christian Nationalism are speaking God's heart and God's kingdom priorities, it is important to take a look at what the prophets were doing and saying in the Bible. We don't have to look very far to see that they were not political "yes-men" but regularly challenged religious and political leadership for their idolatry and neglect of the poor. What can that tell us about what we are seeing in Christian Nationalism? Let's take a look.
